Yes, I suppose that'd require a program to paint the characters into an 
image. Not a bad idea for a project for myself, as I'm obviously the 
only one needing this :)

The way I'm doing it now is by a script that launches 'aview' (the 
simple aa viewer) and grabs a screenshot out of it. And all in a for 
loop. Slow, error-prone, but works.
