something changed between:
"2002-10-06 00:55:42" and "2002-10-06 00:55:45"
and now when using -ao alsa9 the video plays a lot faster than audio.
a lot faster means at least 3x faster...
when i seek a bit, immediately after seeking the a/v is in sync, but
immediately begins to get desynced.
when using alsa9 + oss emulation + -ao oss => it works ok
native oss drivers + ao oss => works ok
happens with -vfm dshow, -vfm vfw, -vfm divx4, -vfm ffmpeg....
i collected the names of the changed files, and the links to the commits
in the cvslog-archive:
changed files:
cfg-common.h, cfg-mplayer.h, mencoder.c, mplayer.c,
libmpcodecs/dec.audio.[c,h], libmpdemux/stheader.h

i don't know what more info should i provide...
thanks,
gabor

That's life for you, said McDunn. Someone always waiting for someone
who never comes home. Always someone loving something more than that
thing loves them. And after awhile you want to destroy whatever
that thing is, so it can't hurt you no more.
