Hi there,

I use MPlayer-0.90pre3 which I once could compile without errors.
However, right now every time I try to make MPlayer I receive the
following message:

/usr/lib/libSDL.a(SDL_alsa_audio.lo): In function `PCM_OpenAudio':
SDL_alsa_audio.lo(.text+0x7b6): undefined reference to
`snd_pcm_plugin_params'

SDL_esdaudio.lo(.text+0x414): undefined reference to `esd_play_stream'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [mplayer] Error 1

This happens with all versions I tested from 0.90pre3 to 0.90pre8. The
./configure script works without errors.
Does anyone know what this is caused by? With my
Linux-beginner-knowledge, I don't know how to solve the problem...

Matthias
