Hello,

I just read the news on mplayerhq.org - and you were saying that you couldn't 
reach the devs, because they haven't published any email address.

Well - You cannot reach them, but you can reach their provider(s).
The domain is hosted at baypunkt.de as it seems to me and the server is 
located at server4free.de. If the developers of the "stolen" software wish, 
they can file a report at abuse at baypunkt.de or info at baypunkt.de or 
abuse at server4free.de and describe the situation.
In Germany, ISPs are responsible for their customers and have to take proper 
actions if any laws are being violated.

If there is no reaction at all, we can always start some kind of initiative 
where many opensource believers write to the providers .. they cannot ignore 
many mails pouring into their mail server, each describing in different words 
what is up.

Things like those have worked in the past too ... but it's always a question 
of how far you want to go.
