[MPlayer-users] Fwd: OSD menu & TV

hi all,

I'm using MPlayer CVS-021126.
OSD menu run just fine, apart when I start it with the -tv option:
mplayer -menu -tv:on

it says:
Menu config file is empty
Menu init failed

I've got the menu.conf installed both in ~/.mplayer and in
/usr/local/etc/mplayer. I followed the instructions in the docs for
installing it, and the menu works perfectly while watching movies.

any ideas ? maybe I missed some extra parameter ? changing the -tv options
doesn't make any effect.
