[MPlayer-users] fulscreen bug with 3dfx Voodoo 3

I have strange bug while watching videos in fullscreen mode under X (using -vo
xv and -vo sdl). It's a blue line
(sometimes white, it changes when i quit and restart the movie in full screen
mode). I have read, that this bug is only
present on nVidia based videocards. That's how the mplayer documentation say:
Q: I have an nVidia TNT/TNT2 card, and I have a band with strange colors,
right under the movie! Whose fault is this?
A: This is a bug of nVidia's binary X driver. These bugs appear ONLY with the
TNT/TNT2 cards, and we can't do anything about it. To fix the problem,
upgrade to the latest nVidia binary driver version. If still bad, complain to
nVidia!
I have tha same problem, but with my 3DFX Voodoo 2000 16MB AGP graphic card. I
dicovered that this bug dissapear (partly or in
hundert percent) when i firstly run video with -vo sdl and switch resolution
to other then I have my X already running and then when trying the -vo xv it
looks almost good. I'm tired switching these modes, so please help me :)
One more thing ... the same thing happens to me some time ago, whilst using RH
8.0 and RH 7.3.
