hi,

i'm trying to get mencoder working for ripping dvds under solaris, but
somehow, i always end up with a green picture.
watching a dvd itself with mplayer works as it should.

heres the output from the mencoder call

./mencoder -aspect 16:9 -dvd 1 -ovc lavc -lavcopts
vcodec=mpeg4:vhq:vbitrate=694 -oac mp3lame -lameopts br=128:vol=9 -o
test.avi

Barbie - Prayers are like junkmail for Jesus

I have seen things you lusers would not believe.
I've seen Sun monitors on fire off the side of the multimedia lab.
I've seen NTU lights glitter in the dark near the Mail Gate.
All these things will be lost in time, like the root partition last week.
Time to die.
