[MPlayer-users] Batch capture images from stream

Hello

I'm new to this list, and first of all, i would like
to salute the very very great work that has been done
on MPlayer.

What i am trying to do is to make some batch capture
of pictures from an ASX stream.

(I would like to get 1 or 2 pictures per day out of
the stream)

I've a problem with it : if i do a

mplayer -nosound -vo png -frames 1  http://the-stream

the frame is all black. I have to get at least 50 frames
before seeing the image.

As one cannot seek by byte or time on such a stream, i
wonder if there is a way to 'wait' for -let's say- 20
seconds before taking the picture.

Any solution ?
