[MPlayer-users] VIA "CastleRock" MPEG 2 hardware acceleration

The new EPIA-M embedded multimedia chipset has a new hardware
acceleration feature called "CastleRock".  Some VIA pages even say it is
a complete MPEG 2 player, not just an accelerator.

Does anyone know more about this or maybe even know anyone at VIA?
Are the specs out there?  mplayer should exploit this, maybe even to
accelerate MPEG-4 play-back.

The EPIA-M boards are expected in the retail channels in the next
days/weeks.
