Just tried the latest CVS version. Same problem.

I've uploaded a small piece of one movie to incoming.
It's only 200kB of size.
The file is named slice_end_not_reached_but_screenspace_end.avi

Hmmm... that's bad. I do have nearly ten movies with that problem.
Fortunately, I've saved the cropping values, so only some days of CPU power 
are lost.

BTW, do I have to write a full bug report for that?
