Hello,

so far I managed to run MPlayer. But the purpose
I actually installed it for, it does not perform
100% perfect. After a few seconds, the sound
stops playing. My command is:

    $ mplayer -vo x11 -dvd 1

The output looks like this:

A:  19.1 V:   8.2 A-V: 10.823 ct:  0.780  196/196  89% 62% 76.2% 194 0 0%
DEMUXER: Too many (4096 in 8274332 bytes) video packets in the buffer!
(maybe you play a non-interleaved stream/file or the codec failed)
a52: CRC check failed!
a52: error at resampling
A:  19.3 V:  10.6 A-V:  8.726 ct:  1.012  254/254  87% 59% 58.8% 194 0 0%

The loudspeaker remains definitely silent. When I type

    $ mplayer -vo null -dvd 1

the sound is immaculate to the end. (But then, I miss the pictures.)

DMA is activated. What could be the reason of this misbehaviour,
what can I do?

Thanks in advance,
Bertram
