[MPlayer-users] re-encoding vidio and resyncing audio w/ delay

I've been using mencoder to recode some videos that are too large for one CD. 
Some of these also have there audio/video out of sync.  Is there a way with
mencoder to specify an A/V delay (as with mplayer) so I can resync the audio at
the same time?
