*uhoh* i have no idea what i am doing, sorry, never used a debugger on
linux. *evilgrin*

ok. i reconfigured with --enable-debug=3, did a make, copied the binary. did
the debug as stated in bugreport.html but i still get the same data as
before (no line numbers). Simply the * (see above) no debugging symbols
vanished.
