same problem here..
I am running mplayer 0.9pre2 on freebsd; i have a riva tnt card, using
the standard "nv"-driver shipped with xfree 4.2.0.

with an mplayer from about 2 weeks ago all is fine.

I don't think more information is necessary, the bug seems reproducable
on every configuration.

please, can someone figure out what's wrong?
