1) System information

2) Hardware and drivers

  - Video card manufacturer and model:

3) Complains are.
In the situation#1 (log is attached) mplayer freezes xterm and may
be killed only by -KILL signal. I've read that Xvidix is an experemental
driver, but once i've seen rage128_vid.so in vidix extentions directory
i decided it will work.

In the situation#2 mplayer doesn't switch to the doublebuffered mode 
despite the command line agrument "-double".
