[MPlayer-users] mencoder: making a movie fit 700mb

Hi,
I happen to have a 730mb Movie and would like to give mencoder a try and make 
it a little smaller so it does fit on a 700mb cd. Do you know how I have to 
do this so it gets done right the first time? (I have limited ressources so 
repeated tries are not really acceptable)
How can I calculate the new size and what should I do to keep the quality as 
good as possible?
