Seems /usr is hardcoded.
I usually compile non-rpm with --prefix=/usr/local to avoid messing the
distro, that places its packets in /usr .
Doing a strace of mplayerxp, I saw it looked for dha in /lib, /usr/lib,
... but NOT in /usr/local/lib ...
Not a real issue, at least for me: I simply copied it in one of the
scanned directories and it worked well.
But is there a reason for not painting black the screen (and not
calculating a "default" -x -y that keeps the ratio) before playing when
using xvidix output ?
Uh... Another thing. Try Ctrl-Alt-+ while playing on xvidx. On my
machine I get the last scanline of the video repeated many times (just
like what happens when using -vo sdl and toggling fullscreen with 'f'
key, except it hardly is fullscreen)
