[MPlayer-users] Installation question

1. about the jpeg issue:
		-try to install the devel package,
		so nut just libjpeg.rpm but also libjpeg-devel.rpm

2. that mov file won't work :-(:
		-look at your mplayer-output below:
			mplayer says that he detected mov file-format,
			but cannot find a codec for the video ( neither for the audio btw)


generally speaking, it's hard to play back mov files on linux..
the problem is that they using most of time the sorenson codec to encode 
the video stream...

xine has support now for some versions of the sorenson codec ( but not 
for you one "sorenson video 3", just for "sorenson video 1", and mplayer 
will have the same support in the near future ( i hope at least :-).
