[MPlayer-users] hwac3 problems with SBLive! Platinum 5.1

I have got alsa 0.9.0rc1.
I've got /dev/sound/adsp mapped to sound device 3.
I start mplayer with: "mplayer -ao oss:/dev/sound/adsp -ac hwac3 -dvd 1", but 
all I get is a click at the beginning of the DVD. (I have set the SP/DIV out 
to RAW in alsamixer)
When I start mplayer with:
"mplayer -ao alsa9:iec958:AES0=0x87 -ac hwac3 -dvd 1"
I get Dolby Digital on my Cambridge Sound Works DeskTop Theatre 5.1 DTT2500 
Digital. But the sound skips a lot (0.5-3 skips/s).
I can greatly reduce the skipping by adding "-cache 25000",then I get one skip 
every 5 sec to 5 min. (If the load is low, skipping increases with processor 
load).

Can someone who has the same soundcard (or a similar one) tell me everything I 
have to do to get hwac3 working with the oss emulation of alsa ?

AC3 Decoder: Cambridge Sound Works DeskTop Theatre 5.1 DTT2500 Digital
