Hi, I just upped the sample (dvl-lotr-smpl.avi) to the mplayerhq ftp so 
you can check if you have problems with this sample aswell. If so, i 
will file a 'proper' bug report. I tried all (

codecs on my system. Divx4linux i just got today aswell as the newest 
mplayer and newest libavcodec. (june 14th 2002 2am GMT+1)

In the sample, i get the first frame, then audio only. The whole movie, 
same thing, first frame, counter remains zero but audio runs.
