[MPlayer-users] Encoding speed (was Re: Problem with radeon)

Ok. Now I'd like to figure out what can I do to increase my encoding 
speed.

I am  using 3-pass encoding.
After encoding audio i did:

mencoder -dvd 1 -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=mpeg4:vbitrate=865:vpass=1 -oac copy -o madre.avi 

and this was (part of) the output:
