[MPlayer-users] Gaps when looping files

Hi there !

I´ve a encountered a strange behaviour when invoking Mplayer as following:

/usr/local/bin/mplayer -vo vesa:dga -fs -zoom -double { " . $playlist .
"} -loop 1  2&>/dev/null

where $playlist is [$playlist=ereg_replace(";"," ", $playlist)] a list of
comma seperated filenames,
commas where removed by the function above shown in [].

the problem is - that there is a gap of aprox. 10 frames, when mplayer
switchtes to the next file in the playlist.

how can i avoid this behavior ??? Ist there such a thing as a buffer from
which a can serve black frames or so ?
P.S. dont worry about the $playlist - it is just a part of the php script
that creates the mplayer startup files, switching vom moitor to tv and so
on.
