but it also saves lots of time answering at -users to the repeated problems
with incompatibility of libdvdcss and libdvdread versions and bugs...

libmpdvdkit ha sthe correct versions, patched to cached keys and patched to
avoid the well-known bad assert()

but it's faster, much faster. and hte user have to download libdvdread and
libdvdcss anyway, it only saves him some bw if he's using mor ethan one
movie player sharing those libs. and, also note that both libdvdcss and
libdvdread uses that autoconf shit, having 200k+ of useless files in the
standard packages, while we removed them at all, using mplayer's configure
instead. for mplayer-only users it saves bw instead of having them to
download more. imho...
