[MPlayer-users] MPlayer Very Jumpy when Playing DVDs - Urgent

Are you using arts or esd for sound?  I had a similar problem awhile back using arts.  Try setting the audio buffer to the max (your system can handle it...) and try again.  It worked for me(tm).
