[MPlayer-users] VMG info problem

Plese can anyone help me with Mplayer errors?

mplayer -dvd 1

libdvdread: Can't seek to block 256
libdvdread: Can't open file VIDEO_TS.IFO.
Can't open VMG info!

I've compiled Mplayer0.90pre5 on a red hat 7.3 with gcc 2.95.3 but with the 
new style dvd option (mplayer -dvd 1) I can read anything!
Instead with the old style dvd option (-csslib <path> -dvdauth) I see vob 
files.
My dvd is a Matshita sr-8587, is there any hardware problem under linux with 
this model?
I try to compile libcssdvd0.0.3 and then libdvdread separately disabling 
mplayerdvdkit but the result is same.
