[MPlayer-users] extract mpeg's audio?

doesn't work. I do mplayer -dumpaudio moviefile -dumpfile outputfilename
then i try and play the audio file and i get an error. but if i play the
original mpeg its fine. its the same error i get as the method i talked
about below...
