Hi
I'm trying to write a gui frontend for mplayer.
I was experimenting with a program which runs
mplayer in slave mode and send him commands
throught a pipe, specifically it tells
mplayer to seek in the stream.
I have mplayer 0.90-pre5 and in the manual page
it says that if i use:
seek <value> type=1 where value is between 0 and 100
it will seek at the <value>% in the stream.
My mplayer seeks only about 1min20s for every
"seek" printed in the pipe regardless of the argument
<value>.

If i use type=0 it behaves the same.

I flush the pipe after every message printed in
the pipe.

Any idea about what's happening ?
Can somebody help me ?

Mplayer was compiled with the default options.

Is there any place where i can find documentation
about slave mode ?

I can provide the program if you want (is very short)

Bye
Calin
