[MPlayer-users] clearing fb console when starting mplayer?

Hi..

Am using mplayer with a G400(mga_vid) in frambuffer console with tv 
out(clone). It's working really good. I only have one problem. I keeps seeing 
some of the console(messages from mplayer) while playing a movie(unless the 
movies aspect is 4:3). Is there a way around this? Make mplayer blank the 
whole screen?
