[MPlayer-users] getting data of a MPEG2/VOB-file

Hi,

I'm writing a script for automatic encoding with mencoder.

But I do need some information about the source file (MPEG2/VOB).

I especially do need the resolution and movie aspect factor (some
DVDs are scaled) and the length of video in a time factor.

Is there any possibility to get that information?
