[MPlayer-users] mplayer Skin Problem

I'm trying to change the skin that mplayer uses and download a choice (in my 
opinion) selection of proton.

How can I setup mplayer to use this skin?  I've moved the "proton" dir into 
~/.mplayer/Skin and set the skin=proton parameter in /etc/mplayer.conf, and 
the response to "mplayer -gui" is:
