Actually mine looks like this:
 0 crw-rw-rw-    1 root     audio     14,   3 Apr 14  2001 /dev/dsp
to get this:
chmod 666 /dev/dsp

The user is added in my case to audio, in your case it should be sys (as 
you said before)
