[MPlayer-users] Sound

I recently fubar'd X and everything GUI related on my computer while
screwing up the installation of a Gainward GeForce 3 Ti550 AGP. Well,
eventually I was able to get XF86 and Gnome working again, but they both
required complete reinstalls.

So then I recompiled MPlayer (with GCC 2.95.3) and --enable-gui. Tried
to play a DVD  (O Brother Where Art Thou)with the following command:

mplayer -vo xv -ao oss -dvd 1

(OSS is what I'd been using before since it seemed to work.)
