Attached is vgpix32d.dll from http://www.alaris.com/, which _should_
be able to play .vgm-files (fourcc VTLP or VGPX).
However, it just produces strange color patterns with the
following entry into codecs.conf:

videocodec alaris
  info "Alaris VideoGramPiX"
  status buggy
  comment "only produces strange patterns"
  fourcc VGPX,VTLP VGPX
  driver vfwex
  dll "vgpix32d.dll"
  out UYVY

and the sample http://www.alaris.com/movies/toocool.vgm
from http://www.alaris.com/vg_tech/cool_samples_pg.htm
(haven't tried the other samples)
on my ATI Mach64 with the GATOS-drivers and -vo xv
(-vo x11 doesn't work)

Output of MPlayer:

Is my entry in codecs.conf wrong or is it just impossible to use this codec?
