[MPlayer-users] skin problem

hello,

i have the following problem when i try to use gmplayer, i.e. mplayer
with gui.

im using gnome with sawfish,
when i start gmplayer in an terminal the video window opens up and a
small white square in the middle of the screen, the contents is
"Bad argument: #<subr get-x-property>, 0, 1" without quotes
when right-clicking on the video window, i can see the skinned menu
(it's skinned when i right-click it and GTKed when i middle-click it,
isn't it?)

i've installed the default skin in the right directory and i've tried
v0.6.0 and the daily snapshot version.

when i try to use the blueheart skin i get a different background
picture in the video window, thus i think i've installed the skins in
the right place with the right permissions.

the output when starting gmplayer in the terminal is:
