Hi,
at yesterday I made an 2GB MPEG video with mp2 audio using NVrec and FFMPEG's
libavcodec. I wanted to cut off comercials at the begining and the end of the
movie and convert to DivX with mp3. So wrote down times of start and end of the
movie and used mencoder -ss -endpos. After 2 hours of encoding I realized that
start of the movie was almost 20 seconds later than I expected. How is that
possible? I thought you use frame count to get time. Movie was 25.00 fps with no
framedrops and about one and half hour long... BR
