[MPlayer-users] transport stream demuxer

Hi folks,
so after some wrestling I was able to remultiplex the transport stream
mpeg2 from the sony micromv camcorder grabbed using the linuxtv
mpegtools package
(http://www.linuxtv.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/DVB/apps/mpegtools/). As a
non-hacker I have to ask if it would be hard to take the TS
demultiplexing code from there into mplayer so I could watch the files
directly without having to remultiplex them to program streams
beforehand?
