For the record, using an ATI Rage128 based card ("Xpert 2001"), XFree86 4.1.0
(had random lockups/runaway processes with 4.2.0 for some reason), ATAPI DVD
drive (Samsung), NTSC/Region 1, using the XVideo output "-vo xv".  Athlon 
1.2Ghz processor and 256MB of RAM, ALi chipset.  Seems to chug along just
fine after the delay necessary to get the playback keys.
