[MPlayer-users] Mencoder segfaults with DivX4

Hi

I have a little problem encoding DivX4 movies. I use 3 pass encoding and
i works just fine in the firs (audio) pass. When I start the next pass
it segfaults I have RTFM. In the FAQ for Mencoder it says.

Q: MEncoder segfaults on start ! 
A: Upgrade DivX4Linux.

Ok, but where do I get the newest version of DivX4Linux? Again the
manual answers my question.

The codec can be downloaded from the following URL:
http://avifile.sourceforge.net

And so I did, the newest version on that homepage seems to be
divx4linux-20011025.tgz which is 4 months old, is it correct that this
is the newest? If not how do i get the newest? On divx.com it's even
older.
