[MPlayer-users] Probles with 2 or 3 pass encoding

I am using the new method for encoding with 3-pass method. It works very well in general. 
Nevertheless, sometimes I prefer to retain the test.avi produced in the second step as the last
one produces strange alterations of some frames, clearly visible. These
"alterations" are related with a kind of "instantaneous blurring" of the
image as if triyng to "change" from one stream to another. I can't
explain it better. Sorry about that.
I had the same problem with the "old" 2-pass encoding for the last one.
What is surprising is that it is not a "constant behavior", as
sometimes, specially with small sizes of frames, I obtain a perfect
final file.
Can anyone suggest me how to solve this problem? I am always with the
last CVS version. Thanks in advance
