[MPlayer-users] Don't kill me, I just have to ask...

Hello

I have few questions...

Is it possible to use my gfx card's hardware IDCT and motion compensation? I have ATI Radeon 7500 and I use XFree 4.2.0 and kernel 2.4.17. And it is detected
only 1xAGP not 4x, but it is problem of kernel (I think)
(btw, it doesn't matter if I use -fs or windowed mode, there is always 2% of procesor time to show pictures, before on ATI128 it varied between 5-10%...)

And when I use svga:vidix the image is a bit strange for some videos (it looks like 16bit screen mode, not 32bit) and for some hi-res divx videos it doesn't
work at all (monitor will swicth off)

And when I use mencoder to convert mpg->divx, there is always green flash at the beginning. I don't mind it, but is there any possibility to remove it?

And one more thing. most of subtitles downloaded from internet are in Win1250 encoding, but mplayer assues they are iso8859-2. Now I always use recode to
convert them, but it would be nice to have some switch to recode them automatically (but it is really something 'nice to have' but 'I can live without it').

all for now, bye
