Hello all!

It is my first question here, I'm sorry if I'm asking evidences...

I'm trying to configure freevo on a redhat system... Bundled mplayer
does not really work and I decided to install a rpm from mplayerhq.hu.

Now I'm trying to execute mplayer on cmd line using following command:

COMMAND:
---------------------

mplayer -vo x11 -fs -tv
on:driver=v4l:device=/dev/video0:input=0:norm=NTSC:channel=26:chanlist=us-bcast:width=640:height=480:outfmt=yuy2 -nocache -xy 800 -monitoraspect 4:3

Tv starts without problem, BUT:

- I'm residing in canada, and I cannot find any channel list for canada
(canada-cable, like in xawtv, is not defined in mplayer) ... so i'm
almost sure 543.250 is not the real frequency for channel 26

For sure, it would not work into freevo... But actually, I cannot start
tv into freevo for the following reason:

When I validate a channel in tv channel list, tv seems to start, but it
stops immediately.

FREEVO LOG:

If I start mplayer using exactly the same cmd line (without -wid
option), mplayer starts without problem ...4

Any Idea ?

Thanks

Fabien Nisol
