[MPlayer-users] DVD Volume Control

I am using mplayer to play dvds and the output volume seems very low.  I have
the main and pcm volume pinned to max.  Playing a clip from the internet
is much louder.  Controlling the volume with the mplayer controls shows
the volumes (pcm and master) to be at maxiumum.

Is there a way to increase the volume level of a dvd?

Any help would be appreciated.
