Thx for the info but I know ;)
I wanted to point out that saying
"In my PII at 400 mga_vid is about 15% faster than Xv." is not enough, because
it doesn't tell us the video card/driver. I.e.: neomagic's xv driver is 500%
slower (!) than x11.
