[MPlayer-users] mplayer "-vo sdl" scaling incorrectly

Using latest mplayer cvs and the latest SDL (Dec 10 tarball).

linux/i386 (SUSE 8.0)
gcc-2.95.3
Mplayer optimized for i686

My X11 display is set at 1280x1024.

1) Run mplayer with sdl output as:

	mplayer -v -x 1280 -y 1024 -vo sdl file.mpg

The window does not occupy the whole x length (about 5-6 % less than the 
value of 1280).

2)  Run mplayer with xv output as:
 
	        mplayer -v -x 1280 -y 1024 -vo xv file.mpg

The window occupies the whole x length (1280 in my case).


There is no reason why case 1 should be different from case 2.
Is anybody else seeing the same problem ?
