Well, according to the listening tests at FF123 
[http://ff123.net/64test/results.html], AAC sounds just as good as 
WMA8.  That is:

mp3pro: 49.00
oggq0: 44.00
ogg64: 40.00
wma8: 24.00
aac: 23.00
