[MPlayer-users] Feature request: Movie meta information

Hi.

Really cool would be a switch '-metainf' that would do two things:

 - When quitting it writes a file "$filename.meta" (or something
similar) with the current position, the audio/video/subtitle track ids
and all other useful settings.
 - Upon starting (when used with '-metainf' only) it looks for a file
called "$filename.meta" and uses these values.

The meta info file could just use mplayer's normal option syntax
including -ss.
