Hello there. I've been hunting around for some time now for a
Linux-based QT or AVI encoder that will use the AVID Meridian
Uncompressed codec. I have the QTX's from Avid's site... Now, I was
pointed to MPlayer and found that you guys could in fact use QTX's.
Imagine my joy. Now, imagine my pain after several hours of trying to
get the thing to encode with anything other than -ovc copy without
success... I've dug through the man pages, the docs, and the FAQ, and
searched the mailing list to no avail. So, here we go:

How do I encode using vfw?

Using just -ovc vfw tells me that I need to specify the codec to use.
However, I cannot find a single line anywhere on how I am supposed to
do this. Can someone please point me to what I'm missing? Thanks,

J^2
