[MPlayer-users] gmplayer error

ok, i got the gui playing for mplayer (gmplayer) but when i try to play 
any movies (clips.etc) i get this fatal error "Error 
opening/initializing the selected video_out (-vo) device!" can anyone 
help me with this please??
