hi/2 all...

mplayer always gives me this warning when runned as user:

Linux RTC init error in ioctl (rtc_pie_on): Permission denied
Using usleep() timing

if i give root privileges to him, then it runs fine:

Using Linux's hardware RTC timing (1024Hz)
Input config file /home/groo/.mplayer/input.conf parsed : 50 binds

is there any way to enable the hardware rtc timing without giving mplayer root 
privileges?
