[MPlayer-users] Sound in Gnome.

Hey, mplayers much better than xine, but :-) ... there is no esd sound output.
I tried using SDL by setting that env var to "esd", and using SDL in mplayer.
It works for about half a second and then crashes. No error messages...

Any help?

Oh yeah, esddsp doesn't work, and /dev/dsp doesn't either (well it does, but at about double speed - due to my crap on-board sound probably).

Help, and I will reward you with a warm fuzzy feeling in your belly....
